The Day of the Lord

The biblical “Day of the Lord” refers both to judgment and salvation. Old Testament prophecies promised a day when Israel’s enemies would be conquered and God’s people would be liberated.  These prophecies apply to “spiritual Israel” (the church) as well as national Israel.
