My Praise

I praise You, oh Lord.  Your goodness exceeds my worthiness.  Your hand has brought me both protection and provision. All that I have I owe to You.  You have given me a wife whose beauty and strength inspire me. You have given me children who now give back to me as much love as I give to them.  You have been faithful. I have never lacked. In fact, I have always had abundance.  Your words comfort me. Your Spirit fills me. Your joy strengthens me.  Your mercy is greater than my sin…. Read More

Truth is polarizing. It can be rejected or accepted, but it will not be affected one way or another- it will still be truth.  Many people, over the course of thousands of years, were moved by God to write letters, historical accounts, prayers, songs, poetry, or prophetic messages under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit – the compilation of which we refer to as the Holy Bible, God’s word.  Two examples are Jeremiah, the Old Testament (weeping) prophet, whose unenviable job was to confront Israel’s sin and rebellion; and John, the New… Read More

There is a cavernous difference between those who are lost and searching for God and those who reject and refuse God. The bible refers to the latter as “scoffers.” Scoffers are in attack mode, accusatory and angry. They crassly degrade God and those who identify with Him…. Read More

I Am Who God Says I Am!

Insecurity is a bully whose power is only gained through intimidation.  We all love those occasions when a person finally stands up to the bully. Did you know that you can (and should) do that to the devil? The devil is a bully whose power is gained through intimidation, manipulation, and deceit. Sure, he does have power; but his power is limited and confined.  The devil only has authority where we allow it to occur. If you continue to cower back and take heed to all of his lies, you will live… Read More

Unleashing God’s Light to Defeat Darkness

so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. (‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ESV) A fundamental function of the Body of Christ is that we are to proclaim – to declare in faith – the truth of God’s word and His promises to the world.  What many may not immediately realize is that we are not only to declare God’s word to the people of the world, but specifically to the spiritual authorities and demonic principalities of the world. … Read More
